As I Said...
Socks make boring blogging, except when you actually have a finished pair to show off:
And the close-up of the pattern:
Pattern: Stansfield 14 from More Sensational Knitted Socks
Yarn: Brown Sheep Wildfoote in Sonatina
Needles: 0s
So, this is my second pair for Summer of Socks. I'm just a wee bit behind on my pair a week goal, but that's okay. I'm using up some sock yarn, so I won't feel quite so guilty next time I purchase more. I do plan to make a few more pair before succumbing to the desire to buy more. If I was really good, I'd even wait until I go on another yarn crawl in September up to Knitter's Day Out, but that is September. And I will be a Groupie with my next Loopy Ewe order. Too tempting.

Oooo, yum...they'll remind you of summer during winters cold!
Delicious colours! They remind me of sherbert. I just love that stitch pattern too.
I found a specific purpose for the Lorna's Laces Helen's Lace (silk/wool) "Vera" yarn--it's going to be the Scherezade stole from Melanie of the Mystery Stoles. However, I'm not letting myself start it yet (even though I finished the Emerald Isle shawl, aka "The Green Thing"). Why? I decided to try to finish my Mediterranean Lace shawl first. The one I started in July 2005 and keep letting linger. I found it and got to work again. I now have nearly 5 left-side-panel lace repeats done. Seven more to go there, then 12 on the right, then the entire size-0-Addi picked up edging. Oy. Too bad it won't be done in time to wear it to my cousin's wedding on 8/4.
Lookin' good!
Oh i love those colors, for some reason it reminds me of my favorite fruit salad, watermelon and cantelope.
They turned out great! They do look very sherbety.
Very pretty summery socks!
Great colors! Very summer-y!
Ooooh. Pretty colors!
I didn't know Wildfoote came in such pretty colors. :-)
Very nice pair of socks! They look comfy, too.
Socks? Boring? Not around my house! My socks keep me on my, er, their toes.
Blessings!
So much prettier than mine!
Lovely socks! I have that yarn, but mine looks pinker. You chose a great pattern stitch for it.
Oh, those are just gorgeous. Love the colors.
Tropical and yummy! They will brighten up a winter's day when it comes time to wear them.
Love them!
I don't find sockblogging boring. It is so fun to see all the different patterns and all that beautiful yarn. Of course I love knitting socks too....
Those are so cute!
Oh those are yummy!!
